My brother Mark and I took advantage of the cool and cloudy conditions this morning for a 3 hour bike ride in Pleasanton and Livermore. At 6 AM we loaded our bikes on to my car’s rack and drove to Pleasanton, where we parked in the Dublin/Pleasanton BART station parking lot and unloaded our bikes. We were pedaling before 7 AM.
If we had taken BART to Pleasanton, instead of driving, we wouldn’t have been able to get such an early start because BART doesn’t operate until almost 9 AM on Sundays.
We rode our bikes on various trails in Pleasanton and Livermore for 3 hours. We also rode for a while on Concannon Blvd. and Livermore Blvd. because several sections of Livemore’s bike trails are closed to repair damage caused by spring flooding.
Shortly after 10:00 AM we were back at Dublin/Pleasanton BART station where we loaded our bikes on to my car’s rack and drove home to Castro Valley.
