My brother Mark and I started our day with a 12 mile ElliptiGo bicycle ride in Pleasanton. We rode on the 1.1 mile trail loop at Bernal Community Park. We began our ride about a half mile from the trail loop, then we completed 10 laps on the loop, and then we rode a half mile to return to our starting point. We rode at 8 AM under sunny skies with almost no wind. The trail was in excellent condition. The only negative aspect of today’s excellent ride was dealing with several pedestrians on the trail that let their dogs run wild without leashes, which is a safety hazard for the bike riders and the dogs.

I’m sharing 3 videos from today’s ride. Each video lasts about 4.5 minutes and shows 1 complete lap on the trail loop. Here’s what you’ll see in the video clips…

In the first video, you’ll see me riding one full lap on the trail loop. The camera is mounted on Mark’s bike and he rides behind me.

In the second video, you’ll see Mark riding one full lap as I capture the video while riding behind Mark.

In the third video, you won’t see us riding. You get a view of the trail in front of us for one complete lap on the loop, as we’re both riding behind the camera.

Mark and I are both wearing yellow high-visibility shirts so it might be difficult to distinguish us in these clips if you don’t know us well. I’m wearing full length pants while Mark is wearing short pants, and Mark has long hair while I have almost no hair. Here are the 3 video clips…
