Iron Horse Trail XII

My brother Mark and I spent the morning on our bicycles. This was our first ride since my return from Arizona. We rode on a segment of the Iron Horse Trail that runs north from San Ramon to the northern tip of Alamo, at the point were Alamo meets Walnut Creek. This was a repeat of our most recent ride, several weeks ago, before my Arizona vacation.

Today’s ride covered 8.5 miles from San Ramon to Alamo, and then 8.5 miles to return to our starting point for a total of 17 miles. We began the ride at 7:20 AM and we were finished before 9:30 AM. We were back home in Castro Valley at 10:00 AM.
