This morning we checked out of our motel in Methuen, Massachusetts and headed to Maine. To get from Massachusetts to Maine, we had to cross through New Hampshire.
We spent our entire drive across New Hampshire on state route 125. After we left New Hampshire and arrived in Maine, we stopped for a quick breakfast in Sanford. Then we continued our drive to Kennebunkport.
We spent about an hour at Kennebunkport. We didn’t have any specific places in the town to visit. We had a very casual and uninformed look at the place.
During the late 1980s and early 1990s, Kennebunkport was often in the news because President George H. W. Bush owns a home there and he spent time there while vacationing. After we left Kennebunkport, we headed for Portland.
