I’ve been playing a lot of pickleball lately, and I’ve been doing a lot of inline roller skating too. Today, to give my legs a bit of a break, I stayed away from pickleball and my skates and took a long walk on the trails at Lake Chabot Park in Castro Valley.

I hiked for about 5 miles on several trails, including the Cameron Loop Trail and the Ten Hills Trail. I didn’t have much company of the trails this afternoon. I assume that the 92 degree temperature and bright sunshine this afternoon had something to do with the light traffic on the trails.
