This morning we left Burlington, Vermont and drove north to Montreal, Quebec, Canada. We decided to take a route through the Lake Champlain Islands. We could have taken a more direct route via I-87 on the western shore of the lake, but we wanted to take the scenic route that hops from island to island in the middle of the lake.

After we finished hopping through the Lake Champlain Islands, we arrived in Rouses Point, New York. From there, we turned north for the one mile drive to the Canadian border.
