Mason-Dixon Line

After we finished our visit at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, we headed east to cross the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. After crossing the bridge, we’d drive through Maryland’s “Eastern Shore” region and on into Delaware.

After we crossed the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and arrived on Maryland’s Eastern Shore and turned north on US 301 toward Wilmington, Delaware, we veered east on Maryland state route 302 to head to Dover, Delaware.

On route to Dover, we arrived at the small town of Marydel at Maryland-Delaware state line. Marydel is actually two towns. There’s a Marydel in Maryland and a Marydel in Delaware.

After our stop at the Maryland-Delaware state line at Marydel, we had only 20 miles left to reach to Dover, the capital city of Delaware.
