This morning we left Great Falls, Montana and began the 3 hour drive to Missoula, Montana. Most of our drive today took place on Montana state route 200, which runs the entire east-west length of Montana and is the longest signed state highway in the nation. The drive was scenic and memorable.

The first half of the drive covered grassland plateaus and took us through a few small towns. At the halfway point, we crossed the continental divide at Rogers Pass. The second half of the drive went through mountain country.

By 3:00 PM we were checked in at our motel in Missoula and resting for a few hours.  In the evening we attended a Pioneer League ball game.  We saw the Missoula Osprey host the Billings Mustangs at Ogren Park at Allegiance Field.

We were treated to some ‘free baseball”, which is more commonly referred to as “extra innings”.  In 10 innings, Billings defeated Missoula 11-5. Box Score
