17 Mile Drive

The Seventeen Mile Drive on the Monterey Peninsula is a famous and scenic tourist attraction.

This afternoon I took a leisurely sightseeing drive on the famous Seventeen Mile Drive on the Monterey Peninsula.

I entered the Seventeen Mile Drive at its southern end, at the Pacific Grove Gate, and drove the entire loop in a counter-clockwise direction. I stopped at 8 places along the way to check out the scenery, so my drive lasted almost 3 hours.

I didn’t bother to stop at ‘The Lodge’ at the Pebble Beach Golf Course because there was a lot of construction going on there.

After a full day of sightseeing and driving at Point Lobos and the Seventeen Mile Drive, I was back at my Monterey motel at 4 PM. In the morning I’ll drive home.
