This morning, during a break in the rainstorms, I took a walk at Lake Chabot Regional Park. The wet weather kept the weekend crowds away from the park, which was fine with me. During today’s walk I made several brief stops to snap photographs of the trail.
The map below shows the route for today’s walk. I started at the southern map pointer and walked 2 miles to reach the other map pointer, and then I turned around and returned to the starting point via the same route.
I walk at Lake Chabot 4 or 5 times each week, weather permitting. I make my visits to the lake early, usually at sunrise, to avoid the crowds.
