Today I enjoyed a 20 mile bike ride in Danville, Alamo, and Walnut Creek with my girlfriend Amy and my brother Mark. Our ride began on the Iron Horse Trail in Danville. We rolled north to Walnut Creek where we joined the Contra Costa Canal Trail and cruised through Heather Farm Park. From there, we returned to our starting point on the same route.

This was Amy’s first 20 mile bike ride! She was exhausted at the finish but she enjoyed the ride. She was determined to last 20 miles. Her previous best distance was 16 miles. Here’s a video and a few photos from today’s ride…
